Join The Cummer as we celebrate art from private collections across Jacksonville. The exhibition features 70 pieces, including porcelain, paintings, photographs, sculptures, African Art, ethnographic objects, pottery and works on paper.
The area’s top personal and corporate collectors, including a few you may not know, share some of their most prized possessions with our community. The exhibition not only showcases magnificent work, it also explores why art is important and why people collect.
Each collector reveals the significance of their selected works through quotes and commentary, while photographs by Ingrid Damiani document each collector in their private space.

Women Walking The Five Stations of Transformation is one in the sequence of the Evolving Women's Culture workshop series. During this 7-week course women are guided by a step-by-step process that unveils the radiant jewel at the center of the heart, where we discover endless beauty, creativity and great transformative power. While opening and strengthening the connection to our inner radiance we move beyond the mind-body realm expanding our awareness into the infinite realms of Heart, Spirit & Secret. The Five Stations of Transformation teachings offer techniques on how to clear obstacles, discharge misbeliefs that hold subtle unconscious blocks in place and tap into the transformative power within so that LIFE me be lived more joyfully. A Women's Healing Circle will be created for Saint Augustine from the group that completes the 7-week course. Those attending the classes are not obliged to join the healing circle however, anyone interested in participating in the Women's Healing Circle must complete Women Walking The Five Stations of Transformation.
